There is not much on youtbe. Everything seems to be taken down as soon as it is uploaded. I found a few short clips.

Japan has Nadeshiko fever!

ETA: I think I misread your post. There are a lot of videos on youtube. I thought you meant you wanted to see footage of the people celebrating. I can not find a lot of those. I did see some very funny ones. I don't think they are available anymore. I'll check. Maybe I downloaded a few. If I find some, I'll upload them on mediafire. Perhaps, you should do a youtube search. Try searching for: なでしこ

flower Our team came back today! The Germans were wonderful hosts! cheers

I was very pleased with their win, as I don't think that many in the U.S. would have even really cared or noticed much if our team had won Shocked Soccer is not the most popular of sports here as it is elsewhere, although it is gaining fans...

From various news clips that I have seen though, Japan as a nation seems so thrilled with this win and so I am thrilled with them I love you

I loved the Japanese girls. They were really brave.

So last year the boys placed in the top ten, and now the girls win. Amazing! Confetti

sunny You are welcome! Yes, you are correct. News Zero did show clips of the parents, relatives and former childhood coaches (the man crying).

Most of the clips are about the close and happy relationship between the members of the team and their coach. The coach likes to crack jokes all the time. He did not crack any jokes during the PKs but Sawa begged him not to choose her. When he said okay, the other players bemoaned that it was not fair. But the coach said: Lets give Sawa a break. She already scored a goal for us today. They all ended up laughing together. He has an ability to soothe and relax the players during tense moments.

Yeah i noticed he seems to make the members laugh alot in this clips!
During the championships the reporters in germany always said, he never shows any emotions and is very in silence, but i think we are so wrong! After they won they interviewed him and he was smiling all the way and was very talkactive! cat

Laughing Yes, they are very wrong. He loves to crack jokes. He allows the players to play their own game in the field too. He does not try to control too much from the sidelines. He trusts that they will do their job.

The coach’s name is Norio Sasaki. He is a little weird. Japanese men are usually not openly affectionate with their wives. But he was seen blowing kisses to his wife after they won the final against the USA. He has also said that if he can’t love his wife, he can’t love his Nadeshikos (Japanese Women’s Soccer Team).

In Japanese society, especially in Sports there is a pretty strict hierarchy of seniority. The Japanese coach allowed the girls in his team to call him Nori-san. It is a lot more casual than have them call him Kantoku (coach/manager/director) or Sasaki-san. When interviewed he revealed that the girls only refer to him as Kantoku during formal press conferences. When asked how he feels about being called Nori-san instead of Kantoku, he said: I am a 53 year old man! Having bunch of young women calling me Nori-san is delightful!
